Hard chapters, simply taught

The 4 chapters that scare every Class 10 student — and how we make them easy.

  1. 01

    Light: Reflection & Refraction

Ray diagrams drawn step by step on the board. By the end, every student can construct an image without notes.

  2. 02

    Electricity & Magnetic Effects

Numericals broken into 3-step templates — Ohm’s Law, series-parallel, and power. PYQ practice is mandatory.

  3. 03

    Carbon & Its Compounds

Functional groups, IUPAC and naming — done with a single A4 cheat-sheet you actually understand.

  4. 04

    Trigonometry & Quadratic Equations

Trig values memorised in 10 minutes with a hand-trick. Quadratics: factor, formula, completing the square — all three methods, every chapter.

Study Notes · Class 10

1Physics

Reflection of Light

Why students get stuck

Ray diagrams look intimidating — incident ray, normal, reflected ray, angles.

How we teach it here

There is only one rule to memorise: the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection. Everything else is just drawing. We practise 20 diagrams before any numerical.

Key formula∠i = ∠r (both measured from the normal)
6Chemistry

pH Scale & Acids–Bases

Why students get stuck

The pH numbers are inverted — small number = strong acid — and the log scale is rarely explained.

How we teach it here

Think of it as a temperature scale for sourness. 0 is the sourest (battery acid), 7 is plain water, 14 is the soapiest. Every step is 10× stronger — that’s the log part.

Key formulapH = − log [H⁺]
πMaths

Trigonometry — sin, cos, tan

Why students get stuck

sin θ, cos θ, tan θ feel like memorisation. Most students never see the triangle behind them.

How we teach it here

Every ratio is just one side divided by another in a right triangle. Memorise the 30°-45°-60° values once and the entire chapter falls open.

Key formulasin θ = opp / hyp, cos θ = adj / hyp, tan θ = opp / adj
